Menus and Pricing

	Menus Originals does not have preset menus. We believe that our customers deserve better than that and here is why: Original’s is a customer caterer, not a portable restaurant. We strive to give you what you want, not what we want to serve to you. During our many years of catering, we have not encountered any two customers that wanted the same things. So why should we force you to be like everyone else by making you pick from preset menus? Caterers that offer you a choice from preset menus, do so because they are normally bulk purchasing, mass produced food for the most economical price in order to maximize their profits and/or to compensate for their limited culinary expertise in the preparation of a wide variety of foods. As a result, food quality and taste obviously suffer. Our philosophy on food is very simple. We believe that food should not only look good, it should taste even better. We know that in order for food to taste good, it must be purchased and prepared fresh. The food for your event is purchased especially for your event one or two days before and is prepared fresh the day of your event. We do not serve “rubber” chicken and dry meats that most people equate with catered food. All our meats are tender and juicy even if cooked well done. We are experienced in preparing real food that tastes excellent.

Cake Pricing Unlike other cake bakers, Originals does not price cakes on a per slice basis due the the wide variety of cake styles and decoration alternatives offered. Once we know the style of cake you desire, the number of different flavors you may want, the number of guests to plan to serve, and what decorations you want such as icing pattern and/or floral type, Originals will be glad to provide you with a complete quote for the wedding cake of your dreams. *Catering Pricing* Since Originals does not have preset menus, we do not have preset prices. Pricing for your cake or event depends on many factors, such as: Number of guests, location, decoration, cake design and flavors, whether china/glass or plastic service is used, food items selected, whether a full meal or Hors d’ oeuvres, whether buffet/self served or seated/ served, etc. After our free consultation with you to determine your menu, decor, event conditions, and estimated number of guests, Original's will provide you with a quote for your event. You should not expect that being treated with respect, courtesy and individualized attention to detail would result in exorbitant prices, and Original's agrees with you! Although we are normally not the lowest priced, you will be pleasantly surprised at the reasonable price for excellent service, elegant display, and the delicious taste of freshly prepared, superior quality food.
